Hair Transplant in Bangkok Thailand - pros and cons

Hair Transplant in Bangkok Thailand - pros and cons

There is no operation in the medical field without side effects. However, some of them are minor and very easy to control while other can be devastating. There are consequences of hair transplant surgery as well, yet many of them can be kept under control and eliminated in time. Among the most common side effects of hair transplant in Nangkok Thailand or anywhere else we should note the following:

- Shock loss or shedding ? Ninety percent of the patients are likely to experience this side effect after surgery. It consists in loss of hair after the operation in quite considerable amounts. This loss will usually occur a couple of days after the surgery and it is no reason for worry unless the number of hair lost exceeds 100 per day.

- Falling out of new hair ? This may also happen to you after hair transplant but stay assured that it is nothing to write home about. This phase is called the telogen phase and consists in the follicles being shed out of the scalp. It will be followed by the anagen phase, in which re-growth of hair will be noticed.

- Swelling is another notable side effect in hair transplant surgery and it may comprise the swelling of the scalp, eyes and other areas, accompanied by some kind of pain. There are pain killers that your surgeon will prescribe you so that this undesired effect should not bother you at all. There are also medicines which help reduce swelling.

- Itching and infection are not strange in this case. The scabbing in the skull will bring about an itchy sensation after the operation. As for infection, the scalp is of course prone to infections due to the intervention. However, with proper care this will not happen. - Some patients will experience hiccoughs and sleepless nights after the hair transplant surgery. This is likely to disappear after a few days but there is no explanation for this kind of reaction in some patients.

- Cysts and blisters may form in certain places as well but they are likely to disappear after treatment prescribed by the therapist.
